Tribunal Superior Eleitoral divulgou nesta quarta-feira dados sobre o eleitorado brasileiro; mais da metade dos votantes usaram biometria. Segundo o tribunal, h\u00e1 ainda 1.409.774 eleitores que n\u00e3o poder\u00e3o votar nem se candidatar nas elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Nos \u00faltimos quatro anos, o eleitorado brasileiro aumentou 3,14% saltando de 142.822.046 votantes, em 2014, para 147.302.354 nas Elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018. Os eleitores est\u00e3o distribu\u00eddos pelos 5.550 munic\u00edpios e em 171 localidades de 110 pa\u00edses. Os dados foram divulgados nesta quarta-feira (1\u00ba) pelo Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE).<\/p>\n

Segundo o tribunal, h\u00e1 ainda 1.409.774 eleitores que n\u00e3o poder\u00e3o votar nem se candidatar nas Elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018, por estarem com os direitos pol\u00edticos suspensos. De acordo com o TSE, a maioria do eleitorado brasileiro \u00e9 formada por mulheres, com 77.337.918 (52,5%), enquanto os homens somam 69.901.035 (47,5%). Em 2014, as mulheres eram 74.459.424 (52,13%) e os homens, 68.247.598 (47,79%).<\/p>\n

Os dados divulgados apontam ainda um crescimento expressivo dos eleitores no exterior nos \u00faltimos quatro anos, passando de 354.184 para 500.727 eleitores, aumento de 41,37%.<\/p>\n

O presidente do tribunal, Luiz Fux, atribuiu o aumento ao esfor\u00e7o conjunto entre a Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral e o Minist\u00e9rio das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores para facilitar o cadastro de eleitores residentes em outros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n

Os dados foram divulgados durante lan\u00e7amento do Centro de Divulga\u00e7\u00e3o das Elei\u00e7\u00f5es do TSE. Veja algumas estat\u00edsticas:<\/p>\n

Faixa et\u00e1ria<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

De acordo com o levantamento da Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral, a faixa et\u00e1ria entre 45 e 59 anos concentra mais eleitores, com 35.742.439 brasileiros, o que corresponde a 24,26% do eleitorado. Em seguida, est\u00e3o os eleitores de 25 a 34 anos, que re\u00fanem 31.149.869 pessoas \u2013 21,15% do total de eleitores.<\/p>\n

Os jovens de 16 e 17 anos, cujo voto \u00e9 opcional, representam 0,95% do eleitorado este ano, num total de 1.400.617 pessoas. Segundo o TSE, os dados apontam redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 14,53% no n\u00famero de eleitores jovens. Em 2014, foram registrados 1.638.751 eleitores nessa faixa et\u00e1ria.<\/p>\n

Escolaridade <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A maior parte do eleitorado tem ensino fundamental incompleto: s\u00e3o 38.063.892 eleitores, o que corresponde a 25,84% do eleitorado. Outros 33.676.853 (22,86%) afirmaram ter conclu\u00eddo o ensino m\u00e9dio. Os eleitores com ensino superior somam 13.576.117 cidad\u00e3os (16,88%).<\/p>\n

Segundo o TSE, essas estat\u00edsticas devem ser vistas com relatividade, pois a informa\u00e7\u00e3o reflete a escolaridade declarada pelo eleitor no momento do registro eleitoral ou da atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de seus dados cadastrais.<\/p>\n

Pessoas com defici\u00eancia<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ao todo, 940.613 eleitores declararam ter algum tipo de defici\u00eancia ou mobilidade reduzida. O prazo para solicitar transfer\u00eancia para uma se\u00e7\u00e3o com acesso facilitado termina em 23 de agosto.<\/p>\n

Maior col\u00e9gio eleitoral <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

O estado de S\u00e3o Paulo continua a ser o maior col\u00e9gio eleitoral do pa\u00eds, com 33.040.411 votantes. Em seguida, vem Minas Gerais, com 15.700.966, e Rio de Janeiro, com 12.406.394.<\/p>\n

Com 941 eleitores, a cidade de Serra da Saudade (MG) \u00e9 o munic\u00edpio com menos eleitores de acordo com TSE. J\u00e1 S\u00e3o Paulo, com 9.052.724 eleitores, \u00e9 o que tem mais pessoas aptas a votar.<\/p>\n

Biometria nas elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Mais da metade dos votantes nas elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018 dever\u00e3o utilizar a biometria na hora da identifica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Em 2018, os eleitores que ser\u00e3o identificados por biometria aumentou 239,92% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2014. Este ano, eles somam 73.688.208 votantes (50,3%) do total. Em 2014, eram 21.677.955 pessoas, o que correspondia a 15,18% do eleitorado.<\/p>\n

Fux avaliou o crescimento da identifica\u00e7\u00e3o digital dos eleitores e a possibilidade de registro com o nome social de travestis e transexuais como avan\u00e7os das elei\u00e7\u00f5es deste ano. Ele passar\u00e1 o comando do TSE no pr\u00f3ximo dia 14 para a ministra Rosa Weber.<\/p>\n

Outra novidade deste ano \u00e9 que pela primeira vez, eleitores transexuais e travestis ter\u00e3o seu nome social impresso no t\u00edtulo de eleitor e no caderno de vota\u00e7\u00e3o das Elei\u00e7\u00f5es 2018. Ao todo, 6.280 pessoas fizeram essa escolha ao se registrar ou atualizar seus dados na Justi\u00e7a Eleitoral.<\/p>\n
