Com o pedido de hoje, o terceiro sucessivo feito por Rodrigo Janot, a PGR pretende anular a decis\u00e3o do ministro Marco Aur\u00e9lio, que havia negado a pris\u00e3o do tucano, al\u00e9m de ter o liberado \u00e0s atividades no Senado no m\u00eas passado.<\/p>\n<p>Dos tr\u00eas pedidos enviados ao STF por Rodrigo Janot, dois foram rejeitados desde a homologa\u00e7\u00e3o da dela\u00e7\u00e3o premiada da JBS. Agora, a quest\u00e3o dever\u00e1 ser analisada pela Primeira Turma da Corte, composta pelos ministros Alexandre de Moraes, Rosa Weber, Luiz Fux e Lu\u00eds Roberto Barroso, al\u00e9m do relator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Decis\u00e3o anterior<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A\u00e9cio Neves ficou afastado do cargo durante alguns dias, no m\u00eas passado, por decis\u00e3o de Edson Fachin, antigo relator do caso. Mas, no dia 30 de junho, o tamb\u00e9m ministro do Supremo Tribunal Federal Marco Aur\u00e9lio Mello permitiu que o senador afastado A\u00e9cio Neves (PSDB) voltasse a exercer sua atividade parlamentar, al\u00e9m de negar o pedido da PGR de pris\u00e3o do tucano.<\/p>\n<p>Na ocasi\u00e3o, o ministro justificou a medida destacando a necessidade de analisar novo recurso apresentado pela defesa de A\u00e9cio, que quer que o plen\u00e1rio do Supremo julgue o pedido de pris\u00e3o, e n\u00e3o a Primeira Turma da Corte.<\/p>\n<p>O tucano foi citado pelo empres\u00e1rio Joesley Batista, dono do grupo JBS, durante um de seus depoimentos de dela\u00e7\u00e3o premiada pela Opera\u00e7\u00e3o Lava Jato. O empres\u00e1rio contou aos procuradores que o senador lhe pediu R$ 2 milh\u00f5es para pagar despesas com sua defesa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 \u00e9poca, a defesa de A\u00e9cio comemorou a decis\u00e3o de Marco Aur\u00e9lio e o senador disse que sempre acreditou Justi\u00e7a e que seguiria &#8220;no exerc\u00edcio do mandato que me foi conferido por mais de 7 milh\u00f5es de mineiros, com a seriedade e a determina\u00e7\u00e3o que jamais me faltaram em 32 anos de vida p\u00fablica&#8221;, declarou em nota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Den\u00fancia contra o tucano<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Na den\u00fancia entregue no in\u00edcio do m\u00eas ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), o procurador-geral da Rep\u00fablica pedia a perda do cargo de senador e a repara\u00e7\u00e3o dos danos causados.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de A\u00e9cio, tamb\u00e9m foram alvos da den\u00fancia a irm\u00e3 dele, Andr\u00e9a Neves, seu primo Frederico Pacheco de Medeiros e o assessor parlamentar Mendherson Souza Lima, que trabalha para o senador Zez\u00e9 Perrella.<\/p>\n<p>Leia tamb\u00e9m: Temer deve exonerar ministros para que votem contra den\u00fancia na C\u00e2mara<\/p>\n<p>O chefe do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Federal narrou na den\u00fancia o epis\u00f3dio em que o tucano recebeu R$ 2 milh\u00f5es (em quatro parcelas de R$ 500 mil) do empres\u00e1rio da JBS para arcar com sua defesa na Lava Jato \u2013 fato esse que foi confirmado pelo pr\u00f3prio senador.
