A possibilidade de uma aposentadoria antecipada do ministro Lu\u00eds Roberto Barroso reacendeu as articula\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas em torno de uma nova indica\u00e7\u00e3o ao Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). Embora a sa\u00edda esteja prevista apenas para 2033, quando Barroso completar\u00e1 75 anos, ministros da Corte e interlocutores do governo j\u00e1 monitoram os movimentos do presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva diante dos sinais sucessivos de que o magistrado pode deixar o cargo antes do previsto.<\/p>\n

Nos bastidores, quatro nomes despontam como favoritos para ocupar a cadeira de Barroso, caso ele oficialize sua sa\u00edda. O mais forte \u00e9 o do advogado-geral da Uni\u00e3o, Jorge Messias, considerado homem de confian\u00e7a de Lula e com perfil t\u00e9cnico e pol\u00edtico alinhado ao governo. Messias tem 45 anos e, se indicado, poderia permanecer na Corte por at\u00e9 tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas.<\/p>\n

Outro nome com for\u00e7a \u00e9 o do senador Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), ex-presidente do Senado e aliado pr\u00f3ximo de ministros como Alexandre de Moraes e Gilmar Mendes. Pacheco \u00e9 visto como uma escolha que agradaria a setores do Judici\u00e1rio e do Legislativo, mas Lula ainda avalia mant\u00ea-lo como candidato ao governo de Minas Gerais em 2026, o que poderia adiar sua ida ao STF.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o no radar o ministro do Tribunal de Contas da Uni\u00e3o, Bruno Dantas, que tem bom tr\u00e2nsito pol\u00edtico e \u00e9 pr\u00f3ximo ao Planalto, e o ministro da Controladoria-Geral da Uni\u00e3o, Vin\u00edcius Carvalho, que ganhou destaque pela atua\u00e7\u00e3o em temas de integridade p\u00fablica.<\/p>\n

A movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o em torno da sucess\u00e3o ocorre em meio \u00e0 sa\u00edda de Barroso da presid\u00eancia do STF, assumida nesta semana por Edson Fachin. Em evento p\u00fablico, Barroso afirmou que ainda avalia sua perman\u00eancia na Corte e que pretende fazer uma \u201creflex\u00e3o profunda\u201d sobre o futuro ap\u00f3s um \u201cretiro espiritual\u201d em outubro.<\/p>\n

– Estou h\u00e1 12 anos e mais de tr\u00eas meses e posso ficar ainda mais oito anos. \u00c9 muito dif\u00edcil deixar o Supremo, que \u00e9, para quem gosta do Brasil, tem compromissos com o Brasil, como eu tenho, \u00e9 um espa\u00e7o relevante. Mas h\u00e1 outros espa\u00e7os relevantes na vida brasileira, de modo que eu estou considerando todas as possibilidades, inclusive a de ficar<\/em><\/strong> – disse Barroso.<\/p>\n

Ministros da Corte apontam, de forma reservada, que Barroso vem dando \u201csinais sucessivos\u201d de que estaria considerando deixar a Corte. Integrantes do STF apontam como ind\u00edcios de uma aposentadoria pr\u00f3xima de Barroso o aumento expressivo de processos de sua relatoria pautados por ele – tanto no plen\u00e1rio virtual quanto no presencial – e a vota\u00e7\u00e3o de temas sens\u00edveis, como o pleito do ministro aposentado Marco Aur\u00e9lio sobre seguran\u00e7a vital\u00edcia para ministros aposentados.<\/p>\n
