O ex-presidente do Corinthians Alberto Dualib morreu na noite desta ter\u00e7a-feira, aos 101 anos. A causa n\u00e3o foi informada. No dia 13 de junho de 2021, ele havia sido internado no Hospital Santa Catarina, em S\u00e3o Paulo, e vinha sendo monitorado desde ent\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Em nota oficial, o Corinthians lamentou a morte e tamb\u00e9m informou que, vi\u00favo de Elvira Real Dualib desde 2011, Dualib deixa tr\u00eas filhos, al\u00e9m de netos e bisnetos.<\/p>\n

O Corinthians informou na manh\u00e3 desta quarta que n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 vel\u00f3rio. O corpo do ex-presidente chegar\u00e1 no Cemit\u00e9rio S\u00e3o Paulo por volta de 11h30, e haver\u00e1 uma pequena cerim\u00f4nia reservada, com a presen\u00e7a de familiares e amigos pr\u00f3ximos. O enterro ocorrer\u00e1 ao meio-dia.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m ex-presidente do Corinthians, Andr\u00e9s Sanchez lamentou a morte em postagem nas redes sociais.<\/p>\n

Dualib presidiu o Corinthians por 14 anos, entre 1993 e 2007. Ele renunciou ao cargo durante um processo de impeachment no Conselho Deliberativo do clube e teve seu nome exclu\u00eddo do quadro de s\u00f3cios no ano seguinte \u00e0 ren\u00fancia, ap\u00f3s ser investigado e denunciado pelo Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico Federal.<\/p>\n

Pesavam acusa\u00e7\u00f5es de lavagem de dinheiro, forma\u00e7\u00e3o de quadrilha, estelionato e emiss\u00e3o de notas frias contra ele e dirigentes do antigo Grupo MSI, liderado pelo agente iraniano Kia Joorabchian, ex-parceiro do Corinthians.<\/p>\n

Em 2013, Dualib foi condenado em segunda inst\u00e2ncia pelo Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a de S\u00e3o Paulo, por desvio de R$ 1,4 milh\u00e3o dos cofres do Corinthians. Recorreu em liberdade at\u00e9 a extin\u00e7\u00e3o da pena por prescri\u00e7\u00e3o, no Superior Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a, em 2018.<\/p>\n

Antes de apresentar a carta de ren\u00fancia, em setembro de 2007, Dualib acumulou t\u00edtulos e se tornou o presidente com mais ta\u00e7as da hist\u00f3ria do Corinthians. Foram 12 conquistas importantes no per\u00edodo: cinco Campeonatos Paulistas (1995, 1997, 1999, 2001 e 2003), tr\u00eas Brasileiros (1998, 1999 e 2005), duas Copas do Brasil (1995 e 2002), uma Liga Rio-S\u00e3o Paulo (2002) e um Mundial de Clubes (2000) \u2013 al\u00e9m de uma Copa Bandeirantes (1994) e um Trof\u00e9u Ramon de Carranza (1996).<\/p>\n

\u2013 O Corinthians foi ingrato com um homem que fez tudo pelo clube. Em vez de ser perseguido, eu deveria ser homenageado por tudo que fiz. Nenhum time do mundo tem uma sede social como a nossa. Em 14 anos, ganhamos 14 t\u00edtulos importantes e reconstru\u00edmos o clube em sua grandeza. Constru\u00edmos um memorial que d\u00e1 inveja em qualquer clube do mundo. Onde as pessoas pisam no Parque S\u00e3o Jorge existe uma obra do Dualib – disse o ex-presidente, logo ap\u00f3s ser expulso do clube.<\/p>\n
