Desde quando as abelhas foram consideradas os seres vivos mais importantes da Terra, associa\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais de todo o mundo lan\u00e7aram a\u00e7\u00f5es para preservar a esp\u00e9cie e o Brasil n\u00e3o vai ficar para tr\u00e1s. Em Bras\u00edlia, o governo distrital anunciou o \u2018Bosque das Abelhas\u2019.<\/p>\n

Esse espa\u00e7o ser\u00e1 um corredor ecol\u00f3gico de 10 quil\u00f4metros de extens\u00e3o com mais de 45 mil \u00e1rvores do cerrado, que come\u00e7a no Parque da Cidade e vai at\u00e9 o Parque Nacional de Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n

A constru\u00e7\u00e3o come\u00e7ou em novembro e, quando finalizada, se tornar\u00e1 o maior corredor de abelhas do mundo.<\/p>\n

\u201cNossa proposta \u00e9 criar um corredor com espa\u00e7amento de menos de um quil\u00f4metro entre os bosques, pois assim as abelhas poder\u00e3o migrar sem dificuldade. Teremos o maior corredor de abelhas do mundo\u201d, promete Luiz Lustosa, presidente do instituto e da Federa\u00e7\u00e3o de Meliponicultura do DF.<\/p>\n

Apoio<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Para a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto, foi necess\u00e1rio unir esfor\u00e7os de v\u00e1rias entidades. O Instituto Abelha Nativa e o Governo do Distrito Federal abra\u00e7aram a maior participa\u00e7\u00e3o, para manter a natureza viva para as pr\u00f3ximas gera\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

\u201cVai ficar muito bonito. Quando as \u00e1rvores estiverem florindo aqui no parque, naturalmente, v\u00e3o aparecendo as abelhas nativas e elas v\u00e3o ajudar a polinizar as esp\u00e9cies e tudo ficar\u00e1 ainda mais bonito. E melhor, sem perigo para ningu\u00e9m, j\u00e1 que essas abelhas nativas n\u00e3o t\u00eam ferr\u00e3o e podem conviver em seguran\u00e7a com as pessoas\u201d, comemora Luiz Lustosa.<\/p>\n

O local ficar\u00e1 aberto para visita\u00e7\u00e3o, como uma das mais importantes atra\u00e7\u00f5es tur\u00edsticas do pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

O corredor de abelhas tamb\u00e9m vai gerar empregos, atrair for\u00e7a de trabalho e renda para o Distrito Federal.<\/p>\n

Seres vivos mais importantes do mundo<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A t\u00edtulo de curiosidade, as abelhas foram consideradas os seres vivos mais importantes do mundo durante uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o denominada Earthwatch.<\/p>\n

O Dr. George McGavin, defensor da tese, explicou que 250 mil esp\u00e9cies de flores dependem das abelhas para se reproduzir.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m disso, muitas frutas e vegetais tamb\u00e9m ganham vida por meio da poliniza\u00e7\u00e3o que elas fazem, que tem impacto em cerca de 90% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos no mundo.<\/p>\n
